SMART CLASS FOR ENERGY (POWER) SAVING-Completed

The main aim of the SMART CLASS FOR ENERGY (POWER SAVING) is to save the power and also perform the automatic operation of loads such as lights, fans etc., in the class room. Here first the ON time and the OFF time of lights and fans can be set with the help of RTC (Real time clock).

According to the settings, PIR (Passive Infra-Red) sensor will get activated. When PIR sensors senses human being in the room, the sensors sends the signals to the controller. Whatever loads are connected to the controller will be in ON state.

If the PIR does not senses human being, then the Sensor output becomes low. The loads will be in OFF state. This can be used in mainly in colleges, schools and also in the home to ON and OFF the loads automatically.

INTELLIGENT BUS INFORMATION SYSTEM USING GSM-Ongoing Project

The system designed here is very useful for the passengers those who are waiting at bus stop to catch specific number bus. As the bus is equipped with GSM based processor/controller, the passenger can estimate the arrival time of the bus.. This can be achieved by sending SMS to the GSM installed in the bus.

The demo module is simulated with two bus stops. The bus equipment consists of Micro Controller, Keypad, GSM module and LCD. Here Keypad is used to select the specific bus stop by the driver. GSM module is used to send the message to the next bus stop passengers. Next bus stops will also be intimated about the approaching OF bus. Thus LCD unit in the bus stops will display the information to commuters standing in the bus stops. This system is very much cheap, easily implementable on large scale and very much suitable for colleges.
